"SATAC" System
The "SATAC" System is specifically designed for commercial building applications. It consists of two unique product components: "SATAC" spray cellulose insulation and Encotec commercial spray adhesive. These two items work in combination with each other to provide virtually any commercial structure a durable, long-lasting finished interior.
The material is spray applied in a continiou flow directly to the surface. The adhesive permanently bonds to the insulation to the substrate forming a monolithic seal. this thermal barrier eliminates air infiltration, controls condensation and improves the acoustical environment of the structure. The "SATAC" system enhances the value of the building with its attractive, seamless and energy efficient finish.
Acoustical Control
The "SATAC" System creates a sounds barrier by sealing off potential sound transmission points. Its resilient fibers naturally absorb sound and reduce reverberation, resulting in excellent STC (Sound Transmission Class) and NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) ratings. The "SATAC" System creates an improved acoustical environment for applications ranging from theaters, auditoriums and television/sound studios, as well as manufacturing facilities.

"SATAC" is treated with a permanent fire retardant and offers superior fire protection. "SATAC" has been tested as a Class 1 Building Material and is approved for use as a flame resistant insulation for building interiors.

Description
"SATAC" is a Spray Applied Thermal and Acoustical Cellulose Insulation. It is made of 85% recycled paper products and treated to provide resistance against fire, mold, mildew, mice, birds and insects. This unique building insulation contains no asbestos, glass fibers, ammonia or formaldehyde.
The complete line of Encotec Adhesives is designed for commercial spray applications. Their exceptional bonding characteristics make them highly compatible for spray applications of insulation to wood, concrete and metal buildings. Encotec Adhesives dry to create a tough, moisture-resistant film, creating a durable finish to the building surface.
Condensation Control
Condensation forms when hot, humid air comes in contact with a colder surface. When air finds its way between the building's surface and the insulation, moisture problems begin, often leading to a reduction in thermal performance. The monolithic seal the "SATAC" System creates greatly reduces the chance of moisture development while maintaining maximum R-Value efficiency.
